Spaghetti meet wall - You NEED a Plan!

You get home with baby- then what? You might not be thinking about that now, which is totally understandable.

On top of working full time, and lining things up with coworkers for when you go away, you are growing a baby, planning for childbirth and creating a beautiful space for your baby with all.the.things.

Welcome Baby Wellness has simplified the baby prep process. We will get you all set up for a smooth transition into parenthood. That begins with a plan.

At around 33 weeks, your doula and I will come to your house, or meet you on Zoom, for a systematic postpartum planning session.

    • Know what you want your postpartum to be like

    • Have an amazing extended support team

    • Be prepared for visitors

    • Have a plan for the spaces in your home

    • Have brand recommendations and a shopping list

    • Have all the recovery supplies you need (hint- we have all the postpartum recovery supplies prepared for you).

    • Have a “just in case” PPD Preparation Plan

But how do I hold a baby?

New parents, don’t fret. Yes, there is tons of information out there on baby care. We’ve simplified it for the newbies to save you time and get you exactly what you need when you need it (or maybe even before you need it).

If you have never even held a baby before, don’t worry, you are not alone! Turn to the experts when there is a fear of the unknown.

Our education library has you covered. It is simple enough to help in the middle of the night.

It’s always expanding and includes everything you need via simple tools and checklists that you can access now before the baby arrives, or in the heat of the moment.

    • First Night With Baby at Home Guide

    • First Two Weeks With Baby Guide

    • How to Sleep Better Guide

    • How to Calm the Baby Guide

    • How to Feed the Baby Guide

    • How to Bathe the Baby Guide

    • Circumcision Care Checklist

    • And More

But seriously, what about all the unknowns?

From the moment you say YES to Welcome Baby Wellness, until the time that you go back to work, or say goodbye to your doula fairy 😢

You have full access to the Postpartum Fairy Godmother (me, Elizabeth)! 😁🧚

You will have 24-hour support!

  • This begins now, during your pregnancy, and will continue when you are in the thick of it with your baby! If you have any questions or concerns that arise, I am here to help. Seriously!

I will be up front about the one obvious caveat- I do sleep sometimes. BUT, I sleep during odd hours, which means I can text in the middle of the night. Sleep is critical to all of us, so I will respond as soon as I can. Still, it is my natural pattern to be awake more often than other people at night, and I nap during the day.

    • Be fully equipped to handle newborn care

    • Have a Certified Pediatric Sleep Consultant on speed dial

    • Be comforted and informed in your recovery

    • Have access to your own personal nutritionist to answer questions about foods that heal.

    • Have another caring person screening for PPD

    • Have additional access to the best network, if you need outside assistance

    • Experience anxiety reduction through personal support

“How can you possibly do this without burning out?”

We have a 5 client limit at any given time.

We intentionally keep our agency small, so that we can make sure that each client is fully supported. We have a close team of doulas to make sure this happens. This is why it is imperative to book a consult call with us during your 1st or 2nd trimester. We want to be able to help you, and we do book up.

The next step is to introduce yourself and we can go from there!
